Program Overview

Kinders Plus was developed by our own teachers. They know what children are truly capable of at this age and built a program that rises to meet that standard. While other schools cover the standard Kindergarten curriculum, our children go further. They are challenged, engaged, and learning at their highest level every single day.

Every subject is part of the Kinders Plus program: reading, math, science, social studies, art, music, and second languages. Social awareness and leadership skills are woven into daily learning. Your child finishes Kindergarten with strong academic skills and the character to put them to use.

Class size is capped at 12 students, so every child is given the daily one-on-one attention they need to succeed.

What Your Child Will Learn in Our Kindergarten Program

Reading & Language Arts

Your child will build strong early literacy skills, from phonics and print awareness to reading comprehension and early writing. The pace of their literacy learning is set by their ability.

Math

Our math program builds confidence in numbers through hands-on instruction that goes beyond what standard Kindergarten programs introduce.

Science & Social Studies

Children explore the world around them through age-appropriate topics that spark curiosity and teach them how to ask good questions — a habit that serves them for life.

Second Languages

An early introduction to a second language, like French, lays the groundwork for learning and opens doors for their future. We also offer an ESL (English as a Second Language) program so that every child can learn with confidence.

Art & Music

Creative expression is part of how children process and communicate what they're learning. Art and music are core parts of the kindergartners’ day.

Social & Leadership Skills

From learning how to work in a group to developing the confidence to speak up for themselves, children in our kindergarten program finish the year with the social skills that drive their future.

Schedule Options

We offer two full-day schedule formats so you can choose what works best for your family. Both options deliver the full Kinders Plus experience. The choice is simply about what fits your family's routine.

Option A

Full days, Monday through Friday

Option B

Full days, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Why Kinders Plus is the Right First Step

Built beyond the standard.

The Kinders Plus curriculum was developed by First Steps teachers to surpass the outcomes being implemented in public schools. Your child won't just keep up, they'll move ahead!

Every child is challenged at their level.

Our small class sizes and a personalized approach mean no child is left behind when the pace moves too fast. Every child is pushed toward their own highest potential.

Learning languages day one.

Early language exposure at this age has lasting cognitive benefits. Introducing French and English as a Second Language in Kindergarten gives children a head start that grows with them through every grade.

Leadership skills start early.

Kinders Plus builds the social awareness and leadership habits that help children contribute, communicate, and grow into the kind of children who succeed beyond school.

A safe and welcoming classroom environment.

All our staff work to ensure your child’s classroom is a place where they feel comfortable trying, making mistakes, and trying again. That environment of trust is where real learning happens.
